Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Linux Network Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Linux systems, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in maintaining secure and reliable IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems.
Monitor system and network performance to ensure smooth operations.
Troubleshoot Linux, network, and connectivity-related issues.
Assist in configuring and managing LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall settings.
Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security checks.
Support server backup and recovery processes.
Monitor system logs and resolve performance-related issues.
Assist in network device configuration, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.).
Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Basic knowledge of shell scripting (Bash) is preferred.
Understanding of server administration and system security.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as Linux, Networking, or Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualification:

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or VirtualBox.
Internship or project experience in Linux administration or networking is preferred.
