UI Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive UI components using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, and jQuery
• Translate design mockups into clean, maintainable, and cross-browser-compatible code.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies.
• Manage tasks and bugs in Jira; maintain project documentation in Confluence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and communicate progress.
• Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment and post-deployment testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues and ensure consistent experience across devices and browsers.
• Stay current with front-end trends and contribute ideas to improve team processes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS/SASS.
• Hands-on experience with Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS for responsive layouts.
• Working knowledge of jQuery for DOM manipulation and interactivity.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.
• Ability to integrate front-end with RESTful APIs.

Tolls and Soft Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for task and project management.
• Strong accountability — takes ownership and delivers on commitments.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across design, dev, and stakeholder teams.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and a quality-first mindset.
• Exposure to Figma or similar design handoff tools is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of professional UI/front-end development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating responsive UI and interface work.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
