In the 3 years during which Excel Education Systems (EES) has partnered with Sarvika, we have worked on numerous projects including a very large digital transformation project for our Student Information System (SIS). Our projects have not been easy ones to complete and when you add in staffing changes on both sides, you increase the complexity of these types of projects. Sarvika has been an amazing partner to help navigate all those challenges and overcome obstacles we never anticipated, especially with our SIS project.
As with any large project, thousands of hours were spent planning, designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting the migration to the new SIS system. In our specific case, this also meant dealing with thousands of courses and content along with well over 100,000 student records. When working through a data migration of this size, there will always be unexpected issues to deal with. The Sarvika team worked with us to navigate each and every one of those issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Beyond that, the team is exceptional at listening to our business needs, asking questions for clarification, and providing us workable solutions. For a company like ours that has frequent changing business needs, this type of response is critical for a partner. At this point in our partnership they are actively considering our needs and often are developing solutions before we ask for them. Instead of being frustrated by our changing needs, the team embraces it and tries to think 2 or 3 steps ahead when creating a new system or enhancement.
One of the most impressive aspects of working with the Sarvika team is their responsiveness. We are a US-based company and despite our different time zones, the team has sufficient overlap and support especially during our deployment times. They put in the time and effort to fix things as quickly as possible and have worked many long days to support our needs. They have provided us with access and training to troubleshoot many things on our own during their off-hours and have things resolved, generally, before we start our next workday. It is a rhythm that has become beneficial in our business.
Finally, Jyotsana and the team have taken the time to build a relationship with our company. They ask questions that help them do things that are aligned with our business goals both present and future. When we discuss enhancements, changes, or new systems, they take the time to listen and provide feedback and always respect the decisions we make.
